New Wildlife Watching Boat – A Unique Way to Explore Estonia’s Marine Nature

We are excited to introduce a completely new way to experience Estonia’s northern coast and marine wildlife – aboard a purpose-built wildlife watching boat, now available on our Wildlife & Seal Watching Tour from Kaberneeme.

This small-group sea safari offers a close-up look at grey seals, seabirds and untouched islets of Kolga Bay, but what truly makes it special is the boat itself – designed with nature lovers, photographers, and wildlife in mind.

A Boat Designed for Wildlife Watching – Not Just Another Tour Boat

This boat is unlike anything else available for public tours in Estonia. Here’s what sets it apart:

  • Silent and smooth navigation thanks to an electric bow motor, allowing us to drift near animals without startling them.

  • Mirrored panoramic windows, so you can observe seals and birds without being seen – ideal for shy species.

  • Low sidewalls and custom seating are designed for photographers and nature enthusiasts to capture the perfect shot.

  • Roof and window hatches that can be opened for fresh sea air, sunlight, or better angles.

  • Made from recycled plastic, combining durability with environmental care.

This boat is more than a mode of transport – it’s an observation platform. Whether you’re watching grey seals resting on sun-warmed rocks, or scanning the skies for eagles and cormorants, the boat becomes your window into the wild.

Why This Matters – And Why You’ll Love It

Wildlife watching is best when done respectfully. Many boats can disturb seals, scare birds away, or get too close. This boat’s low-impact design allows you to stay longer, get closer, and enjoy the experience more without disturbing nature.

It’s perfect for:

  • Wildlife photographers

  • Families with curious kids

  • Nature lovers seeking a peaceful escape

  • Anyone who wants to see Estonia’s coastal nature from a new angle

How to Experience It Yourself

The boat departs from Kaberneeme Harbour, just 45 minutes from Tallinn. The tour lasts 2.5–4 hours and includes commentary by an experienced nature guide or marine biologist.

Help Us Protect What We Love

By joining our wildlife tours, you’re also supporting sustainable tourism and helping us raise awareness of the delicate ecosystems along Estonia’s northern coast. Every quiet drift near a seal colony or peaceful pause by a bird cliff reminds us: nature is best experienced when we listen, not disturb.
