Terms & Conditions
1. Booking
All tours must be booked in advance and confirmed by us.
By submitting a booking, you confirm that the information provided is correct and that you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Payment
For most tours, payment is made in cash on the day of the tour, directly to the guide. Online payment is available on request via a payment link and must be completed before the tour date.
A deposit of 50€ per person via a payment link is required to confirm the booking if:
- the total tour price exceeds 300€, or
- the tour date is more than 1 month away.
You pay the remaining amount to the guide on the day of the tour.
Some tours have their own payment rules, see section 3.
3. Tour-specific conditions
Dog sled and dog hiking tours
- A deposit of 50€ per person is paid at the time of booking.
- The remaining amount is paid 2 weeks before the tour date via a second payment link.
- For tours between 20/12 and 3/01, the full amount is paid at the time of booking.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- Once the full amount has been paid, the booking can no longer be cancelled or refunded.
- If there is not enough snow, the tour takes place with a cart ride instead of a sled ride. This is not a reason for cancellation or a refund.
Prangli Island trips
- A deposit of 50€ per person is paid at the time of booking, regardless of the total amount.
- The remaining amount is paid to the guide on the day of the trip.
- The deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
- If the boat cannot go due to sea or wind conditions, we will offer another date. If that does not suit you, the deposit will be refunded in full.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Any deposit paid will be refunded.
- For cancellations less than 48 hours before the start time, the deposit is not refunded. For bookings without a deposit, a 100% cancellation fee applies.
- Dog sled and dog hiking tours and Prangli Island trips have their own cancellation rules; see section 3.
- Cancellations must be communicated by email or message.
5. No-Show Policy
If you fail to attend the tour without prior cancellation or notice (“no-show”), we reserve the right to issue a no-show invoice for 100% of the tour price.
The payment link will be sent to the contact details provided at the time of booking and must be paid in accordance with the payment terms.
This policy applies regardless of the on-site cash payment arrangement.
6. Changes to Bookings
Changes to the booking (date, number of participants, pick-up location) are subject to availability and should be communicated as early as possible.
7. Tour Operation & Minimum Participants
Some tours require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum is not met, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the tour. In such cases, no payment will be required, and an alternative option may be offered.
8. Weather & Force Majeure
Tours that are dependent on weather conditions (snow-related and marine tours) may be cancelled by us if weather conditions are unsuitable.
In such cases, any payments made will be refunded in full, and no additional compensation will apply.
Exceptions: dog sled tours take place with a cart ride if there is not enough snow, and for Prangli Island trips another date is offered first, see section 3.
We also reserve the right to cancel, modify, or reschedule a tour due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure).
9. Responsibility & Participation
Tours take place outdoors and in natural environments. While our guides provide instructions and point out areas that require extra care, participants are responsible for their own actions and safety during the tour.
By joining the tour, you confirm that you are fit to take part in the planned activities. Insurance is not included unless clearly stated otherwise.
We may exclude a participant from the tour without refund if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or if they are under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
Any damage caused to our property or equipment must be covered by the responsible participant.
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.
10. Privacy
Personal data provided during booking is used solely for communication and tour organisation purposes and is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
Resellers & Agents
Resellers, agents, and other partners may request separate terms and conditions by contacting booking@tallinndaytrip.com.
