Discover Jägala waterfall and bog walk from Tallinn and experience two of Estonia’s most characteristic natural landscapes in one day.

  • Escape busy Tallinn and enjoy the peaceful Estonian countryside
  • Visit Jägala waterfall, just 30 minutes from the city
  • Experience an Estonian bog landscape and its unique nature
  • Walk along bog pools and observe local flora and fauna
  • Get to visit the widest natural waterfall in Estonia and the most iconic nature in one go.

This Jägala waterfall and bog walk from Tallinn begins with a short drive out of the city. Located about 30 minutes from Tallinn, Jägala is the largest natural waterfall in Estonia.

Feel the refreshing spray as water cascades over the limestone cliff and capture photos of this iconic natural site. In winter, the waterfall can transform into a frozen landscape with ice formations.

Afterwards, the tour continues with a peaceful bog walk. Follow the wooden boardwalk through one of Estonia’s most characteristic landscapes — a quiet wetland with moss, small lakes, and pine trees. The bog offers a unique soundscape and fresh air, making it a calm and immersive nature experience.

This tour is well-suited for those interested in photography, nature, and outdoor experiences close to Tallinn.

It is also possible to add bog shoes for a more off-track experience, especially in wetter seasons.
