During the wintertime, Prangli Travel offers several winter tours in Estonia, including cross-country skiing, visiting the frozen Jägala waterfall, snow-shoe hiking, an overnight experience, and much more. However, today we’ll have a closer look at the Tour to Husky Park and sledding with Sled Dogs.
Fair warning: this post contains dangerously adorable huskies. Proceed at your own risk.
Husky Park tour begins in Tallinn
Our driver picks you up from the Tallinn Tourist Information Centre and takes you to the park. The drive usually takes around an hour. On the way, you’ll see some beautiful Estonian nature, countryside, fields, and forests. The friendly family in the park then greets us and introduces the huskies and malamutes, their life, their characteristics, and their specialties. And you will have plenty of time to hug, pet, and snap adorable photos.

Sled Ride… or a Trail Hike With a Husky Friend
When Estonia is covered in snow, the huskies take you on a beautiful dog-sled ride through the forest. The moment they start pulling, you feel the pure joy and power of the dogs working together — ears up, tails wagging, running as one team.
But Estonia’s winter can be unpredictable. When snow is too thin for sledding, the adventure doesn’t stop — instead, you go on a canine cross-country hike or a sled-cart ride.

Have a bite to eat!
After a refreshing time outside, we will have a rest indoors and enjoy some light snacks and a warm drink. We’ll have some good chats, and you have a chance to ask your tour guide anything you want to know about Estonia(ns), huskies, winter in Estonia, weather, politics, economy, local lifestyle, tips, and things to do in Tallinn. You name it!
After this cosy time, we head back to Tallinn, where we drop you off at the Tallinn Tourist Information Centre again. The whole tour takes about 4-5 hours (depending on the group size – maximum is eight people), so you have plenty of time to enjoy Tallinn Old Town later.
See you on the tour!
