Discover Bronze Age coffin graves in Rebala
In Rebala, you can visit Bronze Age coffin graves, dating back over 3,000 years. These stone graves are accessible year-round and offer insight into early agricultural life and burial traditions in Estonia. When the Rebala museum is open seasonally, the visit also includes entrance to the museum, where archaeological finds and stories explain how the graves were discovered and what they reveal about ancient life. Outside the museum season, the focus is on the outdoor sites and the surrounding landscape.
Visit an ancient Estonian sanctuary and Saha Chapel
Although Christianity arrived in Estonia in the 13th century, archaeological research has shown that this site was considered sacred long before the chapel was built. Even today, you can see ancient stones near the chapel that local folklore connects with fertility, luck, and protection. The visit offers a rare glimpse into how pre-Christian beliefs and Christian traditions coexist in Estonia’s cultural landscape.
Admire the natural beauty of Jägala Waterfall
Nearby, you will also see the Jägala power station, where the river has been used to produce energy for decades. The guide explains how hydropower works and how natural processes and human use of the river are balanced. The area is also linked to an old Viking stronghold, adding another historical layer to the visit.

Tour Reviews
We had such a fun time with our tour guide Tony he was very friendly and answered so many questions we were really interested in getting personal answers to. We were comfortable enough to ask him. He also took us to a church, and festival grounds for song. Was willing to develop on spots on the tour with photos and personal photos. We really enjoyed the tour!
This trip was great value for money. Our guide, Stassi, was extremely knowledgeable about her country and told us many facts. We saw a beautiful old church and a typical Estonian grave yard, very peaceful and in the trees, a 3000 year old uncovered burial site, a lovely wooden bridge across the river, a stop at a local Estonian site in a small fishing village, a hydro electric plant station and the jagala waterfall. A must do tour to see the scenery Estonia, Tallinn, has to offer! A beautiful and serene part of the world.
Wonderful and relaxed tour with a guide who was hugely informed and enthusiastic about
Estonian culture and history – great conversation and insight – would definitely
recommend to all!
