On our way, we will introduce you to the history, nature, and attractions of the area. In the sled-dog park, we will teach you about life on the farm and meet and play with the dogs. Before the hike, each participant gets their own dog who will be attached to their waist by a harness. Tour Reviews
I had a lovely time in the Estonian nature, hiking with malamutes and getting to see the natural beauty the country has to offer! Definitely recommend Prangli Travel, our host was amazing and super helpful – made sure everyone was having fun and was safe. Thank you again for a lovely time!
It was amazing. We loved the place and the huskies were adorable 🙂
A fantastic experience with local guide and homemade treats. Local honey and a beautiful walk through uncommon Estonian forests.
We had two small kids, and they were able to hike with a smaller working group dog. A couple of tugs on them but in general it worked out great even though our kids are small (6 & 9 at time of excursion).
We are now back in Houston but wanted to say how great the waterfall tour and Husky hike was. Helen did a great job, knowledgeable and was extremely friendly as were all the people at the Husky place.
Myself and Margaret had an unforgettable tour/s and loved every minute of it!!
Please tell Helen she was a fantastic tour guide!
Hi thank you we have just returned. The tour was great and your guide was brilliant 10/10.
We booked three tours with Prangli Travel and had an amazing time on each tour. We went to Laheema National park with Andreas and Prangli island and husky tour with Nelle. very scenic places and beautiful countryside and the huskies are simply awesome. Definitely recommend the tours and Prangli travel. Perfectly organized, both guides are very knowledgeable
We had hoped for the huskyvsledding tour though due to insufficient snow it was changed into the husky hike.
We do not regret it! There was snow and the tour was well organised, very educational and the people accompanying were very knowledgeable.
I can highly recommend attending it. We left at noon from our hotel and were back by 16.30.
Love huskies
Great tour! So cool to walk around with huskies! We got a belt around our middle with two huskies attached to it. Really nice feeling to walk around with two big dogs that pull you a bit forward all the time. Makes the walking part a bit easier, although you have to withstand all the forces 😉 We did this tour because there was too little snow for sledding, but it was great. The tour guide and husky owner are nice and very informative.
Fantastic unique experience, loved every minute!
Our group had such an amazing day with the huskies! We had originally booked the sledding tour but due to lack of snow we went on the hike instead, which we actually decided we preferred! Helen our tour guide was really friendly and chatty and happy to answer all our questions. It was great to see she had such a genuine enthusiasm for her job and meeting new people. We ADORED meeting the huskies, they were incredibly friendly and loved all the attention. It was really interesting meeting all the different huskies and then deciding which ones we’d go on the hike with. The huskies got so excited which was great to see (and hear via the howling!). During the hike it was lovely to see the Estonian countryside, and afterwards it was nice to warm up with a tea and pastry. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tallinn or Estonia – once in a lifetime experience!
Husky experience / hike
Our guide Helen was excellent. Not enough snow to sled so we went for a hike with the dogs harnessed to our waists. It was the darkest day of the year but still really enjoyable getting out into the Estonia countryside, experiencing the dogs hands on and chatting to Helen about life in Estonia. A day we won’t forget.
Dog Therapy & Scenic Walking
Tour to Husky Park with Cani-Cross Hike and Jägala Waterfall was most enjoyable. I originally booked this trip for Christmas snow. However we was not blessed with snow but we chose to visit the huskies regardless. I would like to say I walked the dogs, but it was them who walked me. Me and my daughter were absolutely exhausted after the 5k walk. We had a very enjoyable day and my 9 year old was thrilled to pieces to spend the morning with the huskies as she dreams to own one of these beauties. Special thanks to Helen for looking after us and making the day so special. We will be back again hopefully with snow next time.
We would like to thank you for the awesome tour to the husky farm – we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Andreas was an excellent tour guide and the hosts at the farm were warm and welcoming. The interaction with the huskies and being able to walk with them through such beautiful countryside was exhilarating and an experience we will always treasure.
Husky experience
Fabulous afternoon spent walking with amazingly friendly huskies across a wintry landscape! Our guide Liina was great – picked us up from our hotel for a nice, comfortable drive to the Husky Farm. Don’t assume that walking with the huskies is second best to a sled ride – it isn’t, you get more personal interaction wand time with the dogs, which were hand-picked to suit each person. Visited the frozen waterfall on the way back and dropped off back at our hotel. Great visit – recommended!
Husky Park Experience
I booked our day trip with Kristiina via email. She was so unbelievably helpful.
We were collected from our hotel by Kristiina and Jane (another member of Prangli Travel).
Our first stop was the frozen waterfall, which was brilliant. We had time at the top and the bottom of the waterfall where we took lots of photos. We then proceeded onto the Husky park.
Our experience here was one we will never forget! The huskies were beautiful and so lively. The guys at the park were so accommodating. What an incredible experience we had all thanks to Prangli travel, especially Kristiina and Jane!
I would truly recommend Prangli Travel!
Great day trip to the Huskyfarm!
We were picked up punctually at the hotel in Tallinn in the morning and drove first to Jägala waterfall; small but nice waterfall (8 m).
Then we drove to the husky farm and we were presented with the huskies. After everyone got their dogs, we walked around 6 kilometers through the forest and meadows! At the end, there were tea and pastries offered at the farm owners house in a cozy atmosphere.
Our tour guide took a lot of time and explained a lot of interesting things (in very good and understandable English!)
We absolutely recommend the day trip to Husky Farm with Prangli Travel!
