Tour to Husky Park and sledding with Sled Dogs

  • Enjoy a car ride in the wintry countryside of Estonia
  • Get to know the Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes, cuddle and pet them during the park tour.
  • Have fun in the park on a dog-sled ride through beautiful nature.
  • Warm yourself up with hot tea and snacks.

In this activity, we will visit a country dog farm in Kõrvemaa, choosing the farm depending on the availability. It’s the best area to connect with Estonia’s winter beauty and areas full of forests, marshes, and small villages. During the tour to Husky Park and the dog-sled ride, we will introduce you to life on the farm, give you a sled ride with Huskies or Alaskan Malamutes, and offer some tea and refreshments.

During the tour, we’ll talk about sled dogs, get to know them, pet them, and take some sweet photos. Then, you will go one by one on a 2-kilometer sled ride with trained sled dogs. The rest of the group will enjoy local snacks and good company while waiting for the others. The sled has a comfortable seat suitable and safe for everyone, including small children who can ride on their parents’ lap.

Wearing warm clothes is a must at the dog park. Remember boots, a hat, gloves, and a scarf. This makes the experience much more enjoyable! Read more about winter clothing in our blog post.

1

Pick-up from Tallinn

We will start the tour with a pick-up from the Tallinn Tourist Information Centre.
It takes about 50 minutes to drive through the characteristic Estonian forest landscape to the sled-dog park.
2

Learn more about sled-dogs

On arrival, we will introduce you to the sled-dogs and their home first. We will then give an introduction about the breeds used, their history, character, and field of application.
Dogs are friendly, childish, and playful. Guests can pet and hug them and take pictures.
3

Enjoy dog-sledding

Harnessing the dogs takes a little bit of time, and then the fun starts. The sled-riding distance can vary depending on weather conditions, but it’s definitely a lot of fun! The ride is about 2 kilometres. For your own comfort, it is strongly recommended to wear warm clothes (including winter boots, a scarf, gloves, and a hat).

Tour Reviews

7. Jan 2026

Prangli Travel arranged a dog sledding trip for us which was absolutely brilliant and we all thoroughly enjoyed. The dogs are extremely well looked after and obviously very happy. It was about an hour outside of Tallinn, a 2km route through the forest in a magical snowy setting. Many thanks to Prangli for a great job as I know availability was scarce so we are very grateful – the highlight of our trip and I would thoroughly recommend Prangli and the excursion.

Brilliant day out and a core family memory made! Communication with the Prangli Travel was brilliant – was emailed before with weather updates & who , where we would be picked up! NatureGuide Marilin couldn’t have been more accommodating, interesting, and knowledgeable. Dogs were loved, well taken care of and enjoyed the human visits. Highly recommend specially with these amazing people and animals!

We went on the trip to have a dog sled ride and meet the dogs close up. Unfortunately there was no snow when we went but there is a cart that can be pulled by the dogs as an alternative. The family that runs the experience were so friendly and we had hot tea and toasted marshmallows while everyone had their turn on the sled. We then went to meet the super friendly dogs and had photos taken with the star of the show Thor! The driver taking us to and from Tallinn was great as well. From the start of the booking process we were kept fully informed of information regarding clothing to wear and where we got picked up. If you get chance to do the trip then we can highly recommend it.
