Tour Reviews
We are back in Vienna and would like to thank you: everything went well with our tour, even if the weather almost prevented it. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much!!!
We booked several tours with Prangli Travel: old Tallinn, Soviet Tallinn, Lahemaa National Park and dogs’ sledge in Small Lapland: all the tours have been perfectly organized, the communication with Annika has been fast and smooth and all the guides were nice, speaking a very good english and with a lot of knowledge also beyond the ordinary. Definitely reccomended.
Amazing day!
What an incredible experience! My partner and I had originally booked the husky sledding but due to the lack of snow we were offered the alternative husky park and hike instead and we had an amazing day! Our tour guide picked us up (and dropped us off again) from the hotel and drove us to the husky park where we met the most beautiful and friendly huskies! The owners of the park were lovely and informative about their dogs and we each got a husky or two to take on a hike through the countryside. Highly recommend this tour experience!
Amazing experience! Even if the winter and the snow have not come to Tallinn yet, we were lucky to get an amazingly sunny and frosty morning for our visit. After a visit to the park and getting to know the huskies and their stories, we went for a hike in the beautiful frosty weather with some huskies. We enjoyed spending time with the dogs while talking with the owner of the farm and our guide Triin, discovering things on huskies and the nature of Estonia. It was a pleasure to talk to Triin, our guide and look forward to coming back in the summer to explore the nature of Estonia!
Unforgettable experience
We did the husky sled ride tour. No snow for a sled ride so we did a 5 km walk with the Huskies! Wow. The dogs are beautiful, easy to handle and the walk could have continued longer as we were having such a wonderful time. This is a must do in Tallinn.
Thanks so much and please pass on our thanks to Helen who was just fantastic and such a lovely guide to spend the day with.
Husky experience
Fabulous afternoon spent walking with amazingly friendly huskies across a wintry landscape! Our guide Liina was great – picked us up from our hotel for a nice, comfortable drive to the Husky Farm. Don’t assume that walking with the huskies is second best to a sled ride – it isn’t, you get more personal interaction wand time with the dogs, which were hand-picked to suit each person. Visited the frozen waterfall on the way back and dropped off back at our hotel. Great visit – recommended!
A big thank you to Kaarel for looking after us today on our Husky Dog Sledging Experience.
What an amazing trip. Kaarel was fantastic as a guide, when we return we will definitely use your company again, and also recommend to others planning a visit to Tallinn.
If you’re a dog lover, then this is for you. Book yourself on a husky sledding excursion, where you’ll travel an hour out of Tallinn into the countryside to a beautiful husky dog farm.
Once at the husky park, you’ll have an unforgettable visit. Meet 40 beautiful dogs – Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies and Greenland Huskies – who are waiting for you to cuddle and stroke them. The dogs really enjoy pulling the sled and howl with excitement when put in their harnesses. It’s an exhilarating experience travelling by husky pack through the snow. Afterwards, warm up in the wooden lodge with traditional tea and cake.
Thanks again for organising the trip for us before Christmas 🙂 just wanted to share our write about our time in Estonia (including the trip and Helen of course!): https://unfilteredadventures.com/2019/02/02/christmas-estonia/
Had one of the best experiences with Prangli Travel when visiting the Huskies for sledding in Estonia. The visit lasted about 5 hours and we were greeted at the front of our hotel for pickup from the lovely representative Liina. On the way Liina gave a great overview of Estonian history and showed us many sites on route. Well what can I say the husky sledding was more than what I imagined, it’s a fantastic experience and all the dogs are beautiful, loving, some a bit nuts but also the owners were very welcoming and friendly. This tour includes collecting the dogs and harnessing them and the sledding I will never forget! We also got to stop at the frozen waterfall on the way back. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience ???? xx
Husky Park Experience
I booked our day trip with Kristiina via email. She was so unbelievably helpful.
We were collected from our hotel by Kristiina and Jane (another member of Prangli Travel).
Our first stop was the frozen waterfall, which was brilliant. We had time at the top and the bottom of the waterfall where we took lots of photos. We then proceeded onto the Husky park.
Our experience here was one we will never forget! The huskies were beautiful and so lively. The guys at the park were so accommodating. What an incredible experience we had all thanks to Prangli travel, especially Kristiina and Jane!
I would truly recommend Prangli Travel!
Dog sledding with Prangli
My wife and I booked this excursion with Prangli as we were having a long weekend in Tallinn.
It was a great trip, our guide Helen was brilliant, great company, really informative about both the trip and Estonia, you couldn’t ask for more.
The dogs and the sledding were brilliant and the location lovely.
We would thoroughly recommend.
Amazing Trips!
We were a group of three people and came all the way from Dubai to visit Estonia. We really have enjoyed the trip. We chose to do the dog sledding and to give Jagala waterfalls a visit. It was worth visiting and trying.
They have lovely guides who would make you interested in the trip, thanks Helen and Kristiina. They were knowledgeable about everything since we asked so many questions about the country, region and the trip itself.
I really recommend Prangli Travel!
My wife and I had a fantastic day out with Kristiina and Triin from Prangli Travel in January when we visited the Husky Park. We were also able to stop off via Jägala waterfall which was an added bonus!
Both Kristiina and Triin were very friendly and knowledgeable – we learnt a lot about Estonia on our trip and I even got a short lesson in Estonian! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel as part of the package. The whole trip lasted about 4-5 hours.
The car drive was very comfortable and it was useful to somewhere to keep some extra clothes for the cold weather, and somewhere to put the camera when it wasn’t needed.
The waterfall was very impressive at this time of year as it had mostly frozen over. Kristiina even took some photos for us and I am glad we had the opportunity to visit while we went past.
The husky park was great fun and we both enjoyed meeting all of the dogs. Unfortunately their wasn’t enough snow for us to go on the sleds but we were able to go out on a cani-cross hike (the price was reduced to reflect this and we knew this might happen in advance). The hike was about 5km overall. It was great to see some of the Estonian countryside and we had another great chance to chat to our guides and the park owner Viljar. After the hike we had some more time with the dogs and then we were invited in for tea and a bite to eat.
I would definitely recommend booking an activity if you’re visiting Tallinn, and we would be sure to do so if we get a chance to come back again – the trip to Prangli Island sounded especially nice.
Aitäh!
Great day trip to the Huskyfarm!
We were picked up punctually at the hotel in Tallinn in the morning and drove first to Jägala waterfall; small but nice waterfall (8 m).
Then we drove to the husky farm and we were presented with the huskies. After everyone got their dogs, we walked around 6 kilometers through the forest and meadows! At the end, there were tea and pastries offered at the farm owners house in a cozy atmosphere.
Our tour guide took a lot of time and explained a lot of interesting things (in very good and understandable English!)
We absolutely recommend the day trip to Husky Farm with Prangli Travel!
Professional guide and visit to Husky Park
We were picked up and driven to the Husky Park and had a pleasant and professional guide with us who gave lots of good hiking tips for Estonia. We highly recommend booking with Prangli Travel!
Thank you for all your patience in answering all my questions beforehand. So glad we went ahead with the booking. Thanks for the lovely Helen (rock!) for an amazing and informative day! She looked after us so well and we all had a fantastic time. Also thanks for the family for sharing their wonderful dogs with us. My daughter has fallen in love with her husky ‘Susie’ and the puppy (whom we are suggesting the name ‘Solo’ as they were asking for a name beginning with ‘S’). And I’ve fallen in love with ‘Star’! Perfect experience never to be forgotten!
We were lucky as the snow conditions were good and there was a true winter wonderland out there. Organization was top notch – pick up time and place were reconfirmed an evening before and our guide was on time and kept most pleasant company to us during all the tour. Dogs in the Husky park were absolute cuties and the ride itself was super cool! For sure an experience to remember!
Husky tour- breathtaking
Our day tour to the husky farm was magical- snow, pets everywhere (huskies, malamutes, horses, cat; all of which the kids loved), a detailed tour of the dogs, a short but breathtaking trip on the dog sled- silence except for the breath of the dogs and crunch of the snow, all followed by homemade sweets and fruit tea in the traditional and warm hut.
Annika and Pep were lovely, informative guides who spoke excellent English. Helle and her husband at the husky farm were friendly and generous.
Sledge-ride with Huskies
I enjoyed the Dog Sled ride in Raplamaa very much. The explanations during the tour were very interesting. I was surprised how full of energy the dogs were. This was a very special experience and I definitely recommend it.
Sledge-ride with Huskies
We made a daytrip and the Highlight was a sledgeride with Huskies. It was absolutely nice and the dogs pulled our sledge really fast. The landscape with all the snow was also very nice. All you need to know is that these dogs are sprinters, that’s why the ride itself is rather short. Nevertheless you learn a lot about sledge rides with dogs. We also enjoyed traditional estonian food at the Husky Farm. The guide was very informative.
Thank you for the unique experience.
